This is a quick review of a standard website development project with Argyle Interactive. This article will go over a typical timeline and the overall process of a website development project.
Process Overview #
Pre-development #
Before developers begin coding and building out a website, Argyle’s team will collect important details and note needed connections to third party apps (ex. like connecting MailChimp to a site’s signup forms).
Development #
This part of website development projects takes a majority of the project run time, and is where developers build out the site according to the pre-approved mockup.
Post-development #
Once the site is built out, Argyle will begin to set up the site for launch. This includes setting up site SEO, loading site content (if available), connecting email sign up forms and installing analytics. Additionally, any refinements and edits are also implemented to ensure the developed site matches the pre-approved mockup.
Once all final updates are made, post-development concludes with the site launch and a delivery call to the client!
Timeline #
Website development projects typically take between 5-8 weeks to complete. By the website delivery date, the client will be delivered a website that matches to pre-approved mockup.
