Lya’s blogs don’t automatically get published to her homepage so when you are drafting/ posting a blog make sure it is getting posted to the homepage and the blog page.
Lya has several blog templates made for specific purposes. They are:
- Travel Blog Template: Has bullet points, intros, a shopping carousel and the ability to have multiple travel picture carousels.
- Gift Guide Template: Made for sales and end-of-year gift guides. Has intro text + multiple shopping carousels.
- LTK Blog Template: For converting LTK posts and links into a short blog. Has a short intro + shopping carousel from LTK.
- General Blog Template: This blog has ability to add multiple sections and images. Usually covers long-form content about Lya’s and Nicky’s lives (ex: Nicky’s surgery experience or their healthcare advice).

The header depends on the blog type.
The dimensions for the blog headers are 1000×1000.
614×588 – single post template for featured image.
For LTK Blogs we grab her LTK image:
- For example, this post was made from this LTK post.
- The dimensions for the blog headers are 1000×1000.
- 614×588 – single post template for featured image.
For Gift Guides, General, and Travel Blogs we request an image from MHS.

- Ensure that the sliders are set to ‘wide-width’ since the original mock had the images extending past the set width of the blog. There’s some code that is specific to the ‘wide-width’ setting.
- You can also set an image height on the style tab on the right-hand side when you select the slider. some images may look better if they aren’t as tall.

When a blog post is showcasing Lya’s outfits we include a shopping carousel.
- For LTK Blogs: Download the photos of the products from her LTK post must have a white background crop the edges close to the product, and add them to the blog post.
- For other types of blogs, we must get the images sized with white backgrounds from MHS.
For the shopping trays on the homepage and shop page, we have MHS cut out the products.
- Product cutout dimensions: 600×600 white background.

MHS designs Lya’s monthly newsletter. This is an image-based email that they sent to us with links.

Lya has an RSS campaign that sends every time a blog is posted. The RSS email is sent the next day after publishing. So, do not schedule an email campaign on the same day a blog is being posted.
