Developer
The developer develops the websites, works on website maintenance tasks, SEO, implements analytics.
Designer
The designer owns all creative direction for the project. decides how to implement branding and design the asset.
NOT: Copywriter, proofreader, strategist
Copywriter
The copywriter reviews the strategy and provides copy for the assets based off the strategy. The copywriter should also select the imagery or provide graphic details for the designer to execute. This person also writes interview questions for blog articles shot by videographer.
Strategist
The strategist looks at the goals and services we have sold, figures out what assets need to be delivered across what channels and when. They set the content calendar with a complete list of tasks and deliverables that need to be assigned. The strategist also studies analytics to make strategy decisions. The strategist should also be looking for holes and schedule meetings with the team to fix issues
Project Manager
Fields all project requests and needs and assigns them out, writes briefs – continues to check in to make sure everyone meets their deadlines and the project is done correctly. They are also reviewing the briefs to make sure they are complete before assigning them. Project manager should handle vendor coordination and print fulfillment
Account Manager
Person that the client talks to and has a relationship with. Shares ideas/needs. AM shares those needs with the strategist (if its an ongoing strategy) and or the project manager (if its a single task) to be implemented. They deliver the work and check in with the client to make sure its been delivered… make sure its delivered etc.
Ad Manager
The person that manages the ongoing ads both PPC and Social Media
Social Media Manager
This person should be writing posts, requesting the creative, and implementing the posts
Photographer/Videographer
This person is responsible for capturing content.
Email Marketer
This person puts together the emails and implements them in the email marketing platform
